About

Justin is an Actor, Writer, Director, and Teaching Artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a small coastal town in rural Oregon, Justin, instead of spending too much time in the frigid waters of the Pacific, chose to do theatre. His first part, George in Our Town, irrevocably hooked him into the world.

He is best known for his Guest Starring role on the Leverage episode "The Reunion Job" on TNT (Directed by Jonathan Frakes!).

He is also known for the award winning short film "The River Bride." The short was an official selection at a number of festivals and received Best Short Film from the Oregon Independent Film Festival, as well as the South African Film Festival.

Justin was an ensemble member of Theatre Vertigo from 2009 to 2012 and has been in many productions with them, including boom, 99 Ways to Fuck a Swan, and Cloud 9. Other favorites include The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (defunkt theatre), Kid Simple: A Radio Play in the Flesh (CoHo Productions), As You Like It (Portland Actor's Ensemble), The Sweatermakers (CoHo Productions, Playwrights West), Waxwing (String House Theatre), and The Winter's Tale (Ophelia's Jump Productions)

Justin was very lucky in the spring of 2012 to do one of his top 5 shows: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, with Action/Adventure Theatre. He was fortunate to work on this project with many fantastic people, including long-time friend and collaborator Tamara Carroll, friend-since-college Pat Moran, the hugely talented Dainichia Noreault, and his college Theatre Professor and chosen family Mindi L. Logan.

Outside of working, Justin enjoys writing stories and poetry, reading lots of books, wearing sweet hats, backpacking, and traveling with his wife and their dog-friend, Princess Leia. He also likes chocolate chip cookies.
